Vision & Values

Our Vision:

As a church, we desire to imitate Christ, to tell His story, and to relationally engage our neighbor for the glory of God.

Our Values:

Relationship - We have a sincere desire to be involved and connected to one another through small (community) groups at every level of our life together; this desire to be connected also carries over into relationship with our neighbor.

Mentoring/Coaching - As a multi-generational community, we have the people resources where the older can coach and serve the younger; the spiritually mature can come alongside and mentor the less mature and imitate for them the life of Christ.

Prayer - We recognize our complete dependence upon God and will demonstrate that relationship of dependency at every level of our life together by the priority of prayer.

Application - Oriented Teaching of God's Word - We are a community in which the Scriptures are honored and taught so that learning will not be a mere accumulation of knowledge, but will lead to becoming more like Christ.

Service - We exist to serve and dignify our neighbor through deeds of kindness and acts of mercy, through humility and generosity, and through telling the story of Jesus locally and globally.

Worship - We were created to praise and adore our Triune God; whenever we gather for worship we do so evangelistically, which means that we display Jesus Christ before seekers and skeptics, before principalities and powers, and before the eyes of our children and the next generation.
