Volunteer Opportunities

Every year we have over 100 volunteers invest in the lives of kids and their families. Will you prayerfully consider joining us to help Kids and Families know and grow in God's Story? We are looking for Men, Women and Youth who are excited to use their spiritual gifts to partner with our parents to influence the spiritual growth of the kids in our community. Ask God what He wants you do this coming year to make a difference in the lives of kids and families in our community.

Community Fellowship has the best interest of children at heart, which is why we carefully screen every volunteer who works with children. We are always looking for caring people interested in sharing the love of Jesus Christ with children.

 

Volunteer Applications

At CF, we require everyone who works with children and students to fill out a volunteer application, go through a background check and have an interview. If you are a new volunteer, 

1. please fill out the Children's Ministry Opportunities form online (which you just did) and 
2. download, fill out and sign the more detailed Children's Ministry Application.
3. please return your completed Children's Ministry Application to the CF Office or to Joel Sisson, Children's Ministry Pastor.    

There are many different ways to get involved. Take a look at some of the opportunities below. 

Community Kids: Sundays 9 & 11 AM

• Loving Arms Nursery 
  • Actively interact and care for babies, little tots, or toddlers while building trust into parents and community with other volunteers.

• Preschool 2 Years - 1st Grade
  • Develop relationships with 2-4 year old children as they discover the stories of the Bible and enjoy fun activities. 
  • Teacher - Outgoing, up-front person makes the Bible come alive!  
  • Teacher's Aid - Helps lead children in their first small group experience; develop relationships through guided conversation and activities that point to God. 
  • Welcome Center and Room Greeter - help welcome and check in all the children, especially visitors 
    

• Elementary: 2nd—4th Grade
  • Large Group Teacher - Outgoing, up-front person makes the Bible come alive!
  • Small Group Shepherd - Connect with and mentor kids in small groups 
  • Teacher's Aid - helper in the room 
  • Room Greeter - help welcome and check in all the children, especially visitors 

• JAM: 5th—6th 11AM only
  • Large Group Teacher - Outgoing, up-front person makes the Bible come alive!
  • Small Group Shepherd - Connect with and mentor kids in small groups 
  • Teacher's Aid - helper in the room  
  • Room Greeter - help welcome and check in all the children, especially visitors
