Community Kids

Welcome to Community Kids!
 
Our mission is Helping Kids and Families to Know and Grow in God's Story.

If you're looking for a place where kids can experience unconditional love, community with other kids and the significance of the truths God's Word and the reality of God's Story creatively, then join us during the 9AM or 11AM Service in Community Kids. From our infants to 6th Graders, our goal is to create environments that engage every age group at their developmental level, while helping children discover and experience who God is and how to join God in His Story.

We desire transformation to occur in the life of a child and then at home. We are convinced that ministry to children is best accomplished by encouraging and offering practical training and tools based in scripture to parents. Parents have a much greater influence over the course of time in their child’s life than we will ever have as a church. George Barna says, "It is the parent whom Go will hold accountable for the spiritual maturation of their children." So our goal is to relationally partner with parents to raise children and families who know and grow in God's Story as fully engaged disciples of Jesus Christ.


Every 5th Sunday of the month, we encourage families to worship and witness baptisms or child dedications together during the services.  On these Sundays, there is no Community Kids for children 4 years old - 6th Grade.
