Awana helps parents to raise children to know, love and serve Jesus Christ. Awana is our mid-week discipleship club where children have the opportunity to memorize, study, and learn life lessons from important passages of the Bible to help them grow spiritually, and have a blast playing exciting games and activities.

Awana is divided into three segments:

Game Time: Kids participate in fun and exciting games on the Awana Game Square.
Handbook Time: Kids practice memorizing and studying scripture in smaller groups.
Large Group Time: Kids sing and hear a Bible lesson specifically for them to apply to their life.
We have three divisions of Awana Clubs:
    • Cubbies: For 3-5 year-olds. (Remember Cubbies is for potty trained children.)
    • Sparks: For Kindergarten - 2nd grade.
    • Truth and Training (T and T): For 3rd - 6th grades.
The name Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

    Family Dinner - Sandwich Bar
The Family Dinner is every Wednesday before Awana in Room 112, starts at 5:45PM. Parents, you are in charge of your children during dinner.  Please help maintain an orderly and safe environment for Families to eat dinner together.

This year, we are offering a simplified menu each night - "Build Your Own Sandwich Bar." We will provide sandwich fixings, chips, fruit and veggies for our families to enjoy. There is a suggested donation of $1 per person or you may bring something to share. This could be the cheapest and easiest meal you'll have as a family all week. Awana Check-In will take place Upstairs starting at 6:15PM (following the Family Dinner).

Would you like to Volunteer in Awana Clubs while your child is participating?  Please fill out the Community Kids Opportunities Form online or Contact Joel Sisson, Children's Ministry Pastor, for more information.
