AWANA

AWANA helps churches and parents worldwide to raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ. Awana is our mid-week discipleship club where children have the opportunity to memorize, study, and learn life lessons from important passages of the Bible to help them grow spiritually, and have a blast playing exciting games and activities.

AWANA is divided into three segments:

Game Time: Kids participate in fun and exciting games on the Awana Game Square.
Handbook Time: Kids practice memorizing and studying scripture in smaller groups.
Large Group Time: Kids sing and hear a Bible lesson specifically for them to apply to their life.

We have three divisions of AWANA Clubs:

Cubbies: For three and four-year-olds. (Remember Cubbies is for potty trained children.)
Sparks: For Kindergarten - 2nd grade.
Truth and Training (T and T): For 3rd - 6th grades.

The name AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

The Registration cost of $30/child includes AWANA Dues for the year (about a $0.80/week), Support for AWANA Missionaries, and Grand Prix Car ($5). If a Child registers after January 1 ($20/child) and after March 1 ($10/child).
Payment Options Available:

Pay in Full at Registration.
Pay Half at Registration and the Remainder on Jan. 30.

Schedule

AWANA begins September 5 with a Parents Open House and Registration Night. The first full night of Awana Clubs begins on September 12 and runs through May 8 on Wednesday nights at 6:30-8:15PM. Download the 2012-2013 AWANA Calendar.

Family Dinner

We offer a Family Dinner every Wednesday before AWANA in Room 112, starting at 5:45PM. There is a suggested donation of $1 per person or a dish to share. This could be the cheapest and easiest meal you'll have as a family all week. AWANA Check-In will take place Upstairs by the East Entrance starting at 6:15PM (after the Family Dinner).

Register

Download the AWANA Registration Brochure for more information and to register for AWANA 2012-2013. If your child is not yet registered, you can do so at AWANA on September 5, 2012. We ask that you arrive before 6:30pm to allow time for the registration process.
